Pokémon TCG

From Base Set Charizards to the latest Special Illustration Rares, Pokémon cards are global icons of the trading card game world. Their high-gloss finishes, intricate holographic patterns, and collectible value demand expert Pokémon card grading to ensure every surface detail is carefully inspected and accurately documented.

What We Look For:

Holographic Integrity: Every holo and reverse-holo Pokémon card is checked for “print lines” and “silvering” (tiny bits of foil showing on the edges), which are common flaws in both vintage and modern Pokémon card sets.

Texture Depth: For modern “Full Art,” “Alternate Art,” and “Special Illustration Rare” cards, the unique textured etching is inspected closely to confirm consistent depth, with no flat spots, surface wear, or factory damage that could affect the card’s grade.

Back Surface Consistency: Pokémon card backs are notorious for “whitening” along the blue borders and corners. High-intensity UV lighting and angled inspection are used to detect even the smallest nicks, edge wear, or color breaks on the back of the card.
