What We Look For: 

Holographic Integrity: We check for "print lines" and "silvering" (the tiny bits of foil showing on the edges), which are common in both vintage and modern sets.

Texture Depth: For modern "Full Art" and "Alternate Art" cards, we inspect the unique textured etching to ensure no flat spots or factory damage.

Back Surface Consistency: Pokémon card backs are notorious for "whitening" on the blue borders. Our graders use high-intensity UV lighting to detect even the smallest nicks.
