Topps TCG Grading
Whether it’s a Chrome Refractor or a classic paper Rookie Card, Topps cards sit at the heart of the hobby. Because sports cards are handled, traded, and displayed so often, they’re especially vulnerable to physical "wear and tear"—making an HG Grading slab a smart choice for long-term protection and lasting value.
What We Look For:
Refractor Surface Clarity: We specialize in detecting subtle "scuffing" and micro-scratches on Chrome finishes—flaws that often stay hidden to the naked eye but can impact a card’s grade and appeal.
Edge Stability: For paper-stock cards (like Topps Heritage), we closely inspect for chipping and roughness along the edges, including imperfections introduced during the cutting process that can quietly lower a card’s condition.
Registration & Color: We verify that the printing plates were aligned with precision so the athlete’s image appears crisp, the details stay in focus, and the colors remain bold, accurate, and true to the original release.
